What is your definition of vacation?

According to the dictionary, a vacation is a long period used for leisure or recreation. Most people think that it also needs to involve some traveling to places far from your home. And what better place to have all the best things than in a Brazilian beach resort? When we think about Brazil beaches resorts, we imagine palm trees to rest under, crystal clear waters with coral reefs for swimming, or a tropical forest to explore.

But we also need to think beyond that! South America’s largest country has an incredible structure for visitors who want a little more out of their time here. Going off the beaten path of places like Sao Paulo and Porto Seguro, this list of the top ten Brazil beach resorts will give you major insight into which is a better fit for your next trip.

While Brazilโ€™s coastline is no secret, more travelers are now chasing secluded beachfront resorts that offer privacy, eco-design, and hyper-local experiences. Think barefoot luxury on hidden stretches of Bahia or private hammocks by the sea in Alagoas.

Whether you’re looking for luxurious rooms with a hot tub, an exclusive on-site restaurant, or just want a straight-up all-inclusive resort, the best beaches in Brazil have it all!

Should you have plans to explore other areas of our beautiful country that are not listed here, we also put together our ultimate Brazil travel guide for your convenience. You can read it later, now onto our Brazil beaches and resorts!

So, in no particular order, here are the top ten best Brazilian beach resorts!

Brazil Beaches Resorts

1. Salinas Maceiรณ Beach Resort (Location: Maceio)

Brazil Beaches Resorts: Arial View of Salinas Maceiรณ Beach Resort

Starting strong with one of South America’s best-rated resorts, this all-inclusive spot is a great place for your next trip, especially if it is a family affair since children under twelve don’t pay. This place was planned out to avoid having guests walk long distances between their rooms and other areas of interest such as the beach or beautiful outdoor pool. Good thing you’re close to the water since one of the biggest coral reefs in South America is here.

While it may not have much structure in terms of action like tennis courts, its inclusivity extends to one of Brazil’s best beaches, Ipioca. Starting with your breakfast, and going past afternoon snacks and drinks in the spa’s hot tub, you will always have what you need. And as if that isn’t enough, this place has activities for all ages throughout the day!

2. Summerville All-Inclusive Beach Resort (Location: Porto De Galinhas)

Muro Alto in Pernambuco was chosen to house this perfect place. Not only crystal clear waters are amazing to practice water sports in, but you can dive amongst coral reefs or rest under many palm trees. Summerville All Inclusive differs from others because it has a more spread-out layout, circling a single, long outdoor pool. Your options of accommodation range from simpler suits to luxury bungalows with a private hot tub. You’ll even have a favorite on-site restaurant by the end of your stay.

A huge point in favor of this resort is how close you are to other iconic places, like one of Brazil’s best beaches: Porto de Galinhas. Sumerville’s employees will make sure you have everything you may need to enjoy Pernambuco. You can also plan to include some special offers in your package!

3. Salinas Maragogi All-Inclusive Beach Resort (Location: Maragogi)

Staying at the popular beach resort called Salinas Maragogi.

If you are hoping to have it all during your vacation, while staying at one of South America’s best resorts, Salinas Maragogi is the perfect place for you. This region’s beaches are famous for lone palm trees dotting the soft sand, and this resort has a private strip for guests with structure to make their days perfect.

What I think makes this a great place for relaxation is its comprehensive structure. It goes beyond a simple spa hot tub! Here you’ll be able to rest easy knowing kids are well taken care of, enjoy a quick game on the tennis court, and have your every need catered to.

But your trip can go beyond that! Maragogi’s beaches have crystal-clear waters in natural pools to relax in, though I highly recommend you try to get a diving instructor to explore the amazing coral reefs in the area.

4. Fairmont Rio de Janeiro Copacabana (Location: Rio de Janeiro)

Our travels through brazil brought us to the Rio Fairmont resort.

Brazil Beaches and Resorts: The Fairmont Rio Resort

Not all travelers want to just rest during their time off; if you’re like me then you want a perfect balance of that and the ability to explore the area around you! Fairmont Rio is located in our famous Copacabana Beach, and it may not be as calm as a place like Porto Seguro but it is just as amazing. Located right between Copacabana and Ipanema, staying at the Fairmont is for travelers wanting a complete experience during their urban exploration. Their on-site restaurant offers seasonal menus for guests to enjoy, a bar to relax after a long day, and a coffee bar for you to try true Brazilian coffee.

The Fairmont is a pretty straightforward place, without much in terms of extras like a hot tub or tennis courts on-site, it does have a swimming pool though. But starting at this hotel, you will be within walking distance of Pedra do Arpoador. What’s that place? It is simply the perfect place to watch the sunset. Don’t be alarmed if people start clapping, it’s part of our tradition! And the waters are the best for water sports, with people renting out equipment for reasonable prices.

5. Japaratinga Lounge Resort (Location: Alagoas)

Brazil Beach Resort perfect for our travels. It is called Japaratinga Resort

When it comes to privacy, few places compare to Japaratinga Lounge Resort. Hidden amongst green hills and sandy beaches, this resort is ready to welcome international visitors into a slice of Brazilian heaven. Japaratinga is a town in Alagoas, easily accessible since there’s an airport in town to welcome people to this perfect South American place. It’s another one of those complete resorts. You’ll be able to play a game on the soccer or tennis courts, enjoy wine therapy in the spa hot tub, swim in an outdoor pool, or simply relax.

Guests love Japaratinga Lounge Resort for being a great place for people on the more active end of the spectrum. Their complete fitness center has more fame than their game room, mostly because they have several classes you’re able to personalize for your own needs.

6. Wish Natal (Location: Natal)

We thought the Wish Natal resort in Brazil had the best pools

While our resorts so far have been a more homey feeling, Wish Natal leans on a more contemporary design to stand out amongst the palm trees. Your experience will begin with luxurious rooms, complete with a particular hot tub depending on which tier you choose. Palm trees are all along the property, offering great shade for you to enjoy their amazing outdoor pool! It is divided into different areas so grown-ups and littles will have space to enjoy spectacular beaches.

Wish Natal is located close to Parque das Dunas, a great place to watch the miracles of marine life happen since sea turtles use sand dunes to lay their eggs. Guest can take advantage of this premium, all-inclusive resort to make their Brazilian trip the stuff of movies.

7. Aldeia Da Praia Hotel (Location: Near Ilhรฉus)

We went on a beach walk at Aldeiada resort in Brazil

Brazil Beaches and Resorts: via Aldeia Da Praia Hotel

In the place Jorge Amado chose as the stage for some of his best works, you can now live your best moments at the Aldeia da Praia Hotel. When planning this hotel, it seems the designers wanted to give guests the impression of being in a sleepy fishing village and it works! Each room was thought out to welcome people with maximum levels of comfort.

Now, if you are planning your trip and want to stay at a ‘fancier’ place, this might not be the best option for you. Although it doesn’t have things like a hot tub or tennis courts, Aldeia da Praia is more than ready to welcome those looking for a great base for their adventure.

A thing I really like about it is how we can choose from more than one on-site restaurant! Here we get a more traditional place with a seasonally cured menu, a fantastic pizzeria, and even a secluded kitchen where you can make your baby’s food.

8. Resort La Torre (Location: Near Porto Seguro)

The view overlooking the beach while at La Torre Resort in Brazil

Beach Resort: via La Torre Resort in Brazil

Located in one of Brazil’s most beautiful beaches, Porto Seguro in Bahia, La Torre has a complete structure for all kinds of travelers. Unlike other hotels that have a more condensed structure to avoid walking long distances, this one has a spread-out layout with important bits like restaurants spread.

Having it designed to be kind of self-sufficient in each area, you will be able to explore everything and live an adventure before leaving the hotel.

Walking from your room to one of many tropical beaches in town, home to coral reefs in crystal-clear water. If you want to catch the warm waters during their low tide, come during Brazilian summer (December through March) so your trip is smooth sailing down to the ocean waters.

9. Hotel Ritz Lagoa da Anta (Location: Maceio)

Traveling through Brazil at the Hotel Ritz Lagoa da Anta

Beach and Resort Life: via Hotel Ritz Lagoa da Anta

Well-traveled people are familiar with Ritz Resorts, and this one manages to elevate quality levels to a new standard. Lagoa da Anta is a touristic spot close to Praia de Cruz das Almas in Maceiรณ, Brazil’s northeastern region. For people looking to have private moments, this spot will give you easy access to a quiet beach with beautiful vegetation completed by coconut palms to rest under. This town is very small and doesn’t have much structure, even if that’s changing in recent years, so you want to stay at a place that has it all.

Ritz has restaurants to choose from, exclusive access to the beach, swimming pools, or a hot tub to swim in. Completing the relaxing atmosphere, Ritz Lagoa da Anta has a beautiful spa with many treatments to pick from. Zena Spa is a staple in the experience of everyone who stays here!

10. Vila Galรฉ Touros (Location: Near Natal)

Sunset at one of our favorite resorts called Vila Gale Touros.

Beach Resort Sunset: via Vila Gale Touros

In the heavenly Praia de Touros, 80 km (49.7M) from the state capital Natal, this all-inclusive resort is nestled in a huge terrain amongst nature. Even the most exigent guest will enjoy their stay at this place! It has two outdoor swimming pools, an internationally renowned spa, a sports complex complete with tennis courts, an exclusive space for kids, six restaurants, and two bars. That sounds like a dream, right?

To make your experience even more complete, don’t forget to visit the amazing Parrachos de Maracajaรบ! These gorgeous natural pools are a must-see when coming to this state. Formed by coral reefs, they’re perfect for diving to watch marine life. You could go explore the Genipabu sand dunes or try other beaches in the area.

Although each of them is unique in structure, remember to think of the beach they’re in as well so you can have a truly inclusive resort experience. From rooms with a hot tub to tennis courts and even more than one outdoor pool, your perfect place is right here! All of them are available on sites like booking.com and TripAdvisor, so your next beach vacation is just a click away.
