Visit Museums: I know this isn’t for all travelers, but I can’t recommend visiting a museum enough. It will give you a chance to discover more about the place you’re at while offering shelter from the weather outside. Three of the best-known places in Floripa are the History Museum of Santa Catarina, the Art Museum of Santa Catarina, and the Homem do Sambaqui Museum. 

Get Brazilian Coffee: Should your intention be to have a fully immersed experience in Brazil, then you HAVE TO take some time out of your schedule for a coffee break in a lovely cafe in town. We love almost nothing more than sitting down for coffee and pastries.
